Women-led businesses in rural and underserved regions receive less financing and business support than their potential and impact warrant. Many remain disconnected from the expertise, markets, and capital they need to grow.

Our Approach

We work through trusted local organizations that understand their communities and can reach entrepreneurs beyond conventional business-support and investment networks. CRECER strengthens these organizations to become effective incubators and accelerators, while mobilizing the expertise, partnerships, and capital their entrepreneurs need.

    We equip local partners with the methods, skills, and systems to identify, incubate, accelerate, and accompany women-led impact businesses over the long term.

    Our partners identify women entrepreneurs and help them strengthen their business models, financial management, operations, impact, and readiness for growth.

  • Accelerating and Investing

    Selected ventures receive tailored mentoring, connections to markets and value chains, and access to patient capital to help them grow into viable, impact-driven businesses.

  • Connecting Ecosystems

    We connect entrepreneurs and local partners with private-sector actors, experts, and impact investors, while enabling South–South learning between regions.

Our Story

In 2009, our founder established Vision Guatemala to support indigenous women in building their own micro-enterprises. Together with local communities, she co-developed an empowerment model that combined practical training, coaching, and access to micro-finance.

Today, Vision Guatemala operates fully independently and entirely separate from its Swiss founder. Each year, it finances more than 700 small ventures through a locally run credit fund. Every board and management member is a graduate of the program — women who built their own businesses and now lead the organization.

The success and sustainability of this community-led model continue to inspire CRECER’s mission: building locally owned ecosystems where women-led businesses can grow, attract investment, and drive lasting change, turning this approach into a global movement for women-led growth.
